To kick off the 60th anniversary celebration for The Beach Boys, is the updating and reissuing the classic 'Sounds Of Summer' compilation, originally released in 2003 with 30 tracks. The Expanded Edition features 80 key tracks over the course of their storied career, all remastered, with 24 new mixes including 2 first-time stereo mixes, and 22 new-and-improved stereo mixes, in some cases featuring the latest in stereo extraction technology. The set also features updated photos and all new liner notes. The LP versions feature color printed sleeves that replicate the original 'Capitol Catalog' sleeves that highlight the entire Beach Boys discography. With the various configs and new mixes, this product suite should satisfy both the casual and hard core Beach Boys fans alike.
